Worked with the Deezer team as the Artist Marketing Manager for Levant & Egypt for 1 year from May 2020 to May 2021. As Artist Marketing Manager my role enabled artists and labels to partner closely with Deezer in artist development.  We designed and implemented powerful marketing campaigns to grow and maintain positive industry relationships. The labels I dealt with on a daily basis included Warner Music, Universal, Sony, Idol, Believe, Rotana, Because, Takwene, Mazzika, Qanawat, Cooking Vinyl and many others.

DEEZER ORIGINALS:
For these projects I was the Project Leader and handled all aspects to bring them to life.

  • A3det Mazika (November 2020 - March 2021): in partnership with Nogoum FM: a series of sessions and interviews on Egypt’s largest radio station featuring 11 local talents and hosted by Youssra El Hawary. Managed the artists, logistics, promotion and marketing campaigns for each episode on Deezer.

  • Hiya (February 2021 - March 2021): a celebration for International Women’s’ Month where emerging female artists covered songs by iconic female artists from the region. Implemented in audio and video format with amazing illustrations by the talented Zainab El Fesiki.

We worked on a huge campaign for Elissa’s final album with Rotana which included being the cover of our strongest playlists and featurings. On social media we got her #1 post when she topped the charts, a teaser, posts featuring the single a couple of times, a throwback to her career and a 100% Elissa playlist.
